Common issues encountered when installing and setting up the RelationalAI native app on Snowflake.

Complete All Sections

There are 4 sections necessary to fully set up the app:

1. Receive access to the RelationalAI native app.
2. Install and activate the app in the Snowflake Marketplace.
3. Set up RelationalAI using the Snowflake Notebook or using SQL commands.
4. Install the relationalai python package in your local coding environment.

Be sure to complete all the steps, in order.

Confirming Account Activation

After activating the RelationalAI app in Snowflake (step 2 above), you might expect it to appear under the Marketplace tab where you first saw it. However, that tab is for seeking out new applications. Instead, Snowflake lists installed native apps under the tab for Apps. Check under Apps > My Apps to confirm that the RelationalAI app has been activated.

Run Commands Individually

If you are running the entire installation notebook and it is not able to complete, switch to running the commands individually. Copy and paste just the SQL command from each step into your SQL worksheet in Snowflake. Run each command separately and verify that it succeeded before running the next command.
